Huwag kayong maingay

May binabasa akong libro.

Na inspire kasi ako sa post ni Leomer. Marami na akong naririnig  na usap-usapan  at nababasa tungkol sa librong ito. Mukhang kailangan ko na talaga basahin.

According to the New York Times " The Alchemist" has been translated into 67 different languages. This gave Coelho the position as the world's most translated living author according to 2009 Guiness World of Records.

Byways to Blessedness by James Allen..

I'm Reading randomly 87 pages of Byways to Blessedness by James Allen. One of his 20 amazing books in public domain.Pdf files here.

I don't know what happened to me but this particular part in page 50 and 51 caught my attention today
It is very interesting and enlightening.

Here it is.
Shakespeare through one of his characters says: " there is no darkness but ignorance."All evil is ignorance, is dense darkness of mind, and the removal of sin from one's mind is coming out of darkness into the spiritual light.Evil is the negation of good, just as darkness is the negation, or absence of light...

Now the ignorance to which I refer as evil, or as the source of evil,is to two-fold.There is wrong-doing which is committed without any knowledge of good and evil, and where there is no choice- this is unconscious wrong-doing.

Then, there is wrong-doing which is done in the knowledge that it ought not to be done- this is conscious wrong doing; but both unconscious and conscious wrong doing arise in ignorance- that is, ignorance of the real nature and painpul consequences of the wrong doing.

Why does a man continue to do certain things which he feels he ought not to do? If he knows that what he is doing is wrong where lies the ignorance?

If you have time to read download the pdf files here.and find out where lies the ignorance?

James Allen foreword on this book.

Along the great highway of life there are such resting places;away from the heat of passion and the dust of disappointment, under the cool and refreshing shade of lowly wisdom, are humble, unimposing" rest-houses"of peace, and the little, almost unnoticed, byways of blessedness, which alone the weary and footsore can find strength and healing.

The Power of Thought

Act is the blossom of thought, and joy and suffering are its fruits;thus does a man garner in the sweet and bitter fruitage of his own husbandry.

Man is made or unmade by himself. In the armory of thought he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself. He also fashions the tools with which he builds for himself heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace.By the right choice and true application of thought, man ascends to the devine perfection.

- As a Man Thinketh by James Allen

PDF files download here.

If you have a chance to see all James Allen books 20 of  them what will you do? James was the pioneer of the self-help movements. Kaya kung nagbabasa ka ng mga books na ganyan kilala mo siya.

Kinuha ko sila lahat at di ko pa alam kong ano ang gagawin ko sa kanila.Masaya lang ako to have a copy each of them.
Adik lang.

Para silang mga diamanteng walang katapat ang halaga.
Ano kaya ang mangyayari pagkatapos kong mabasa lahat ang mga ito?
Ang alam ko lang ang nakaka inspire ang mga sinusulat niya.

Happy week end bloggers.

"Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself." -Augustine "Og" Mandino II (December 12, 1923 - September 3, 1996)

When life Hurts - On board

Share ko lang ito.
I bought a book" When life Hurts" by Philip Yancey- Understanding God's Place in your Pain. On board OM ship at Mina Port Abu Dhabi last Feb. 18. The only floating library in the world. Ilubeyt.

If you love books and humanitarian efforts catch them on their upcoming port
Qatar until March 5 , Dubai March 8 and 9.
visit Logos hope www.omships.org 40 years in bringing knowledge, help and hope to the world port cities.

I will share sa mga susunod ko ng post how Philip Yancey discovered inside a leprosy hospital the importance of pains in our life.

Just remember this: without pain, our lives will be in constant danger.

Pain is not an innovation God devised at the last moment of creation just to make our lives miserable.
